Harald Tomaselli studied Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Wirtsch. Ing.) at the University of Kaiserslautern and Production Engineering at the University of Birmingham, UK (M.Sc.).
After completing his studies, he worked on lean production processes for several years with Daimler AG Human Resources Division before joining OliverWyman, a renowned international leader in strategic consulting, in the mid-nineties. In his ten-year career there, he was responsible for national and international strategy as well as restructuring and advisory projects, most recently in the role of Automotive Practice Partner.
Since then, he has been a partner at M&A consultancies for SMEs, since 2012 managing partner at benten capital responsible for the successful implementation of many international M&A and corporate finance projects.
Harald Tomaselli is a founding partner of benten capital and author of various publications such as “Unternehmenstransaktionen im Mittelstand in Baden-Württemberg [“Corporate transactions in SMEs in Baden-Württemberg”].

Dr. Florian Eisele studied Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) majoring in finance, accounting, business taxation and controlling at the University of Tübingen, the Texas A&M University, USA, and the University of Saarland. Following his studies, he returned to the University of Tübingen, where, as a research associate, he gained a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) focused on the finance sector.
He then moved to the Finance Division of Daimler AG. There, most recently as a manager, he dealt primarily with matters relating to value-oriented controlling and valuation. He subsequently held roles heading up the finance divisions of stock-market listed SMEs. The first of these was as Head of Finance and Controlling at a plant engineering company, while the second was as Finance Director at a TecDAX-listed mechanical engineering company.
Dr. Florian Eisele has many years of broad experience in the fields of M&A and corporate finance as well as restructuring and reorganisation in both managerial and advisory positions within SMEs and international corporations.

Dr. Frank Schaffrath

Dr. Frank Schaffrath studied Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Wirtsch.-Ing.) at the University of Kaiserslautern.
After completing his studies, he continued his academic career as a research associate and obtained his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.). with a thesis on a business administration topic. Subsequently, he spent more than four years working for Consilio Transformation Management, an SME-oriented management consulting firm specialising in strategy, cost management and product development before moving to the Group Planning & Controlling division of Allianz SE for six years. There, he dealt with value-oriented corporate controlling, cash flow and balance sheet structure optimisation.
This was followed by four years at Klein & Coll., an M&A consulting firm specialising in the SME sector, where as a member of the management team he was responsible for the successful completion of numerous transactions.
During his role as Executive Board member/CEO of ASC technologies AG spanning more than four years, he concentrated mainly on internationalisation/key account management, product development and optimising the development departments.
Frank Galgenmüller

Frank Galgenmüller studied Technical Business Administration at the University of Stuttgart. Alongside his studies, he worked on a variety of consulting projects at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation.
After completing his degree, he occupied a number of roles at Daimler AG. Initially, he gained extensive experience in the fields of production and logistics before moving to Daimler AG’s Finance Division in 2000. There, among other things he was responsible, as CFO of a predominantly SME-focused corporate investment, for its four-year restructuring – a process that involved a broad range of M&A and corporate finance activities. Subsequently, as Director of Business Development from 2007 onwards, he was responsible for sales-related Internet activities and the development of multi-channel marketing operations.
In 2014, he joined the European Automotive Practice of Alvarez & Marsal, where he had particular responsibility for projects with a digital focus. In addition, he was able to gain further experience in restructuring and M&A projects.
Before joining benten capital as a partner at the end of 2017, he served as Managing Director of a boutique consulting firm for two years, where he was responsible for projects involving new digital technologies. Frank Galgenmüller has extensive experience in the management, automotive, digitalisation, M&A and corporate finance fields.
Felix Kröll

Felix Kröll studied Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Wirtsch.-Ing.) at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. After completing his degree, he held a variety of management positions, including as Sales and Business Unit Manager, at an international, family-owned SME. In his last five years there, he led the company in the role of Managing Director. During this period, he was first responsible for successful restructuring before selling the family-owned firm – on behalf of the shareholders – to a larger group of companies as a stand-alone enterprise.
Subsequently, as Managing Director, he was responsible for the post-merger integration and then the carve-out of a business unit for sale to a Canadian company as part of the strategic realignment process.
Prior to joining benten capital as a partner in early 2020, he gained extensive experience in a range of areas including succession planning, reorganisation and restructuring, as well as post-merger integration, internationalisation, strategic reorientation, M&A and corporate finance.
Jens Rosemann

After training as an industrial clerk at Beiersdorf AG, Jens Rosemann studied Business Administration at the University of Hamburg (Dipl.-Kfm.). After his studies, he worked for several years at PWC in corporate finance in Hamburg, Frankfurt and London, most recently with a focus on cross-border deals. At the end of the nineties, he became Managing Director of a group company of the Cologne Stadtsparkasse, focusing on venture-capital financing in TMT markets. During this time, he was able to successfully accompany numerous start-up funding projects.
After a 2-year role as Financial Director of a hotel company, with more than 350 employees, he returned to M&A consulting in 2006 and successfully built up the M&A area for distressed and non-distressed mandates in the HANSE Consulting Group. His consulting focus is on succession support for SMEs, M&A consulting in crisis situations as well as support for larger medium-sized companies and groups in (international) acquisitions.
Most recently with Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner as Head of M&A, he has been a partner at benten capital since April 2021.
Carsten Schubert

Carsten Schubert studied Structural Engineering (Dipl. Ing.) and Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Wirt. Ing.) at the Universities of Trier and Pforzheim.
After completing his studies, he began his professional career at the FORD Motor Company in 1991 in technical purchasing at the Cologne and Basildon (England) sites. He then headed purchasing at the joint venture AUTOEUROPA between Ford and VW in Pamela (Portugal). Subsequently, he worked as Sales & Marketing Manager at Ford Germany, Senior Manager Central Industrial Engineering at Ford Europe and then as Director of Finance & Controlling in the management of the Ford Saarlouis automobile plant.
In 2008, he moved to VOIT Automotive GmbH in St. Ingbert, an internationally active automotive supplier in the fields of aluminium die casting and forming technology. As CEO and co-partner, he was responsible for the successful restructuring of the company at its sites in Germany, Poland and Mexico. He was also responsible for the successful optimisation of product and process development, which was completed with the acquisition of a major competitor in the die casting industry in 2016.
From March 2017 to August 2022, he headed the TÜV Saarland Group in Sulzbach as CEO and Spokesman of the Executive Board. His activities focused on expanding the company’s activities and designing and implementing a growth strategy through targeted company acquisitions (M&A).

Carsten Wendt

Carsten Wendt is a qualified banker and studied Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) at the Freie Universität Berlin and University of Tilburg in the Netherlands. Upon completing his studies, he was recruited as a manager at Siemens AG before joining the internationally renowned OliverWyman/Mercer Management Consulting firm with a focus on the financial sector four years later. There, he was responsible for a number of significant strategy and business development projects in the banking and insurance sector while, in parallel, developing the firm’s digital practice for Germany.
Following his move to the E.ON Group in 2002, he held a variety of management roles. As a senior partner and manager of the Berlin office, he was instrumental in establishing in-house consulting services and was responsible for a number of international merger projects focused on Eastern Europe and for developing the German subsidiary brand. As Managing Director of a distribution company, head of the new B2B business unit within Germany and by establishing and taking charge of the industrial customer business unit, he successfully assumed line management responsibility in a number of areas.
With his M&A and business development expertise gained from more than 20 projects and numerous management roles, he advises our clients as a partner at benten capital.
David Weiss

David Weiss studied Corporate Management and Economics at the Zeppelin Universität in Friedrichshafen.
Between his bachelor’s and master’s degree, he worked for 4 years as an entrepreneur in VC-financed technology start-ups. He then spent 12 years in the private equity investment industry, primarily in the private equity sector financing arm of the KfW banking group, which invests in emerging markets.
At benten, he is responsible for sustainability and in particular supports transactions with a sustainable finance, ESG or impact investing component and a regional focus on emerging markets.
He is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors and holds various board and advisory mandates for private equity funds.
Dr. Martin Arnegger

Dr. Martin Arnegger studied business management and economics at the University of Hohenheim (Dipl. oec.). During this time he was a scholarship holder of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). After his studies, he completed his doctorate as a research assistant at the University of Mannheim (Dr. rer. pol.).
He then moved to Celesio AG and reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Subsequently, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Managing Director, he built up a pharmaceutical wholesaler from its foundation to a profitable annual turnover of more than € 500 million. From there, he moved as CFO to an international, fast-growing company focusing on data-driven drug development using artificial intelligence (AI).
Not least due to his more than ten years as CFO, Dr. Arnegger has many years of extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, M&A and restructuring in both medium-sized companies and international corporations. In addition, Dr. Arnegger taught business management (pro bono) at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main for several years. He is the author of various German-language and international business management publications.

Muzaffer Ozturk

Muzaffer Ozturk studied business administration at Eskisehir Anadolu University. His professional career began with various management positions at DHL International in Istanbul and London. He then became the local representative for regional airlines at Airbus Industries in Toulouse, France. Later, he served as the commercial representative for numerous aviation companies, including leading MROs, cabin equipment manufacturers, and international wholesalers, representing industry giants such as Sell GmbH, Contour Aerospace, and Sabena Technics. Prior to becoming a partner at benten capital in 2022, Mr. Ozturk was a local partner of a German mid-cap M&A advisory firm for Turkey.
Drawing on his extensive experience in business models and management, Mr. Ozturk advises clients particularly on international M&A and corporate finance projects, often working with companies seeking to grow through strategic acquisitions or optimize their business portfolios.
