- A university degree in business administration or related field of study majoring in finance, accounting, banking or controlling, for example
- One to five years of professional experience in the M&A/corporate finance sector or in relevant consulting firms (fields: strategy, restructuring, operations, accounting) or in auditing companies (key responsibilities: financial services, due diligence or transaction advisory)
- A talent for project work combined with the skills and experience needed for dealing with clients and the wide project environment
- IT skills, particularly MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) along with strong Internet research skills
- Excellent German and a strong command of English combined with very good communication skills
- Ability to work independently, analytical skills, a team player, reliability and a persuasive personality
Your key responsibilities
- Assisting with acquiring and conducting national and international M&A and corporate finance projects
- Leading different aspects of a project and involvement in all project phases within the project team
- Independently conducting company and market analyses
- Identifying potential investors, including making and maintaining contact
- Preparing customer presentations and sales memoranda
- Evaluating business models and valuing companies using a variety of methods
