M&A Analyst/Associate (m/f/d)

To support the team in our Stuttgart office, we are looking for a mergers & acquisitions analyst/associate (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible

Your profile

  • A university degree in business administration or related field of study majoring in finance, accounting, banking or controlling, for example
  • One to five years of professional experience in the M&A/corporate finance sector or in relevant consulting firms (fields: strategy, restructuring, operations, accounting) or in auditing companies (key responsibilities: financial services, due diligence or transaction advisory)
  • A talent for project work combined with the skills and experience needed for dealing with clients and the wide project environment
  • IT skills, particularly MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) along with strong Internet research skills
  • Excellent German and a strong command of English combined with very good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, analytical skills, a team player, reliability and a persuasive personality

Your key responsibilities

  • Assisting with acquiring and conducting national and international M&A and corporate finance projects
  • Leading different aspects of a project and involvement in all project phases within the project team
  • Independently conducting company and market analyses
  • Identifying potential investors, including making and maintaining contact
  • Preparing customer presentations and sales memoranda
  • Evaluating business models and valuing companies using a variety of methods
